Our fields span over 100 miles across the Mesilla Valley, from the northern Uvas Valley to just south of Las Cruces in Anthony, NM, and extend to Deming, NM. Iceberg Lettuce During our onion season, we also grow and market premium iceberg lettuce in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado. The high altitude and ideal climate (warm days and cool nights) create perfect conditions for top-quality lettuce from July to September.
In addition, the Mesilla Valley, NM climate and soil also make it an ideal location for growing iceberg lettuce, especially during the cooler months of October and November. The mild temperatures and well-drained, nutrient-rich soil provide optimal growing conditions for crisp, flavorful lettuce.
